So, in my rambling about my Sunbird, you may remember that I got it from a young couple one county over, and they got it from the estate sale of an 88-year-old woman that passed away.
I recently joined a Pontiac group on Facebook and the son of the original owner of the car found me. He even has pictures on his Facebook of when he was trying to sell it last spring.
He’s an older gentleman and doesn’t seem very well-versed in Facebook, so take that as you wish. I sent him a message offering to let him see the car if he ever wanted to, but as of yet, he hasn’t read it.

It’s always cool when you can keep in touch with the original owners.
I still stop and visit my van’s POs on occasion, they love seeing someone keeping their old family hauler nice and taken care of. He was blown away when I took him for a ride in it after swapping in the 3.8L/4-speed.

I think I’m going to add IPS to my list of BS parts to mess with people, like with “ muffler bearings” or “ blinker fluid” . XD

Harmonic d amper fluid
Schrader valve grease
Rear i ntake manifold diaphragm
Airbag deployment sensor, for sensing if the airbags have been deployed
[314,333 , 434] MHz TPMS sensor
